Introduction

Department of psychology was started in 1997. Dr. Kousar sohail was first head of department.

Mission

Department of Psychology has set its mission on following:

To motivate students to continue their education in adverse circumstances;

To emphasis on character building of students;

• to engage in goal-oriented high-level teaching and research;
• to train research workers;
• to promote co-operation in inter-disciplinary relationship with other teaching and research establishments;
• to arrange conferences, seminars and refresher courses for the development of teaching and research; and
• to conduct teaching and research in psychology within local and cultural context of Pakistan.

Annual cricket Match

Each year a cricket match is played between College team and team of Fountain House Members. It provides an excellent opportunity to all students of college to show love and solidarity with member of fountain house.

SCHOLARSHIPS

Two types of scholarships are offered to students;

1. Need based
2. Merit based

COMPUTER LABORATORY

There are two computer labs in college where students can work in comfortable environment. Establishment of separate computer lab for Psychology department is under process.

College library has been established to full fill the needs of students
